DUTIES

compassionate, responsible care for 1.5 year old and 5.5 year old children (e.g. bathing, changing, bottle preparation & feeding, potty training when needed, teach grooming & hygiene, maintaining sleep/nap schedule)
age-appropriate play & learning activities (including educational games, reading storybooks, singing & nursery rhymes, indoor/outdoor play)
help arrange play dates (with other nannies and nearby families) and take to/from park, activities and classes
children's laundry
meal/snack preparation for kids
light housekeeping when not caregiving (tidying up common areas after playtime, clean kitchen after meal prep for child, organize children's drawers, closets & toy boxes)

‌REQUIREMENTS

proven experience caring for toddlers & pre-school kids (able to care for both kids in afternoon)
punctual (arrive/leave on time) and able to stay late occasionally
competent English speaker
willing to get screenings/immunizations as directed
CPR-trained or willing to receive training
takes direction well & communicates openly with parents
seeking a long-term position with family

‌REIMBURSEMENT

$30/hour (final offer varies with skill and experience)
10 paid vacation/personal days (half selected by employer, half by employee)
5 paid sick days and major public holidays paid days off
public transportation to/from work paid by family
paid 52-weeks/year (i.e. paid when not needed such as during family vacation)
