DUTIES

compassionate, responsible, active care for 3-year-old boy (e.g. feeding, bathing, changing, minimal potty training as needed, teach grooming & hygiene)
age-appropriate play & learning activities (educational games, reading storybooks, singing & nursery rhymes, indoor/outdoor play)
help arrange play dates with other nannies and nearby families; take child to/from playground, activities and classes
family laundry (1-2 times per week)
meal/food preparation for child
light housekeeping when not caregiving (tidying up common areas after playtime, clean kitchen after meal prep for child, clean dining area after child’s mealtime, keep child’s bathroom clean, organize child's drawers, closets, bookshelf & toy boxes)

‌‌REQUIREMENTS

proven experience caring for pre-school age kids (loves communicating, playing, educational games; must be highly interactive with kids)
Active and fit as the child is highly active and energetic
punctual and flexible to stay late as needed (with pay)
good English speaker
comfortable with small, friendly dog in home
willing to get screenings/immunizations as directed
CPR-trained or willing to receive training
takes direction well & communicates openly with parents
seeking a long-term position with family
flexible to accommodate exceptions to schedule such as late evening events/date nights for parents

‌REIMBURSEMENT

$27/hour
10 paid vacation/personal days (half selected by employer, half by employee)
5 paid sick days and major public holidays paid days off
public transportation to/from work paid by family
paid 52-weeks/year (i.e. paid when not needed such as during family vacation)
