SCHEDULE
Monday: 3pm - 7pm (occasional 8pm end-time)
Tuesday: 3pm - 7pm (occasional 8pm end-time)
Wednesday: 3pm - 7pm (occasional 8pm end-time)
Thursday: 3pm - 7pm (occasional 8pm end-time)
Friday: 3pm - 7pm (occasional 8pm end-time)
Saturday: OFF
Sunday: OFF
DRIVING REQUIRED: NO
TRAVEL REQUIRED: NO
PETS: NO
DUTIES
compassionate, responsible care for two kids, 15 months & 4 years old (e.g. help with bathing m& changing, feeding, potty training when needed, teach grooming & hygiene, help with bedtime prep)
age-appropriate play & learning activities (including educational games, reading storybooks, singing & nursery rhymes, indoor/outdoor play)
school pick-up help arrange playdates (with other nannies and nearby families) and take to/from park, activities and classes
children's laundry
meal/snack preparation for kids (Indian dishes a big plus!)
light housekeeping when not caregiving (tidying up common areas after playtime, clean kitchen after meal prep for child, organize baby's drawers, closets & toy boxes)
REQUIREMENTS
proven experience caring for toddlers and pre-school-age children
punctual (arrive/leave on time & able to stay late occasionally as needed
competent English speaker
experience with multiple children of varying ages in same home
willing to get screenings/immunizations as directed
CPR-trained or willing to receive training
takes direction well & communicates openly
seeking a long-term position with family
REIMBURSEMENT
$30/hour
10 paid vacation/personal days (half selected by employer, half by employee)
5 paid sick days and major public holidays paid days off
public transportation to/from work paid by family
paid 52-weeks/year (i.e. paid when not needed such as during family vacation)
