LOCATION: New York, NY (Upper West Side, near 1/2/3/A/C/E/B trains)

SALARY: $30/hour net “take home” pay

CHILDREN: 1.5 year-old toddler (occasional help with two older kids)

START DATE: June 2026

SCHEDULE

  • Monday: 8am - 6pm

  • Tuesday: 8am - 6pm

  • Wednesday: 8am - 6pm

  • Thursday: 8am - 6pm

  • Friday: 8am - 6pm

  • Saturday: OFF

  • Sunday: OFF

DRIVING REQUIRED: NO

TRAVEL REQUIRED: NO

PETS: NO

DUTIES

  • compassionate, responsible care for 1.5 year-old toddler (e.g. help with bathing & changing, meal prep & feeding, potty training as needed, teach grooming & hygiene, maintaining sleep/nap schedule)

  • occasional school pick-up and other help with two older kids in the home (NOTE: most care is for toddler only; older kids are typically with other caregivers)

  • age-appropriate play & learning activities (including educational games, reading storybooks, singing & nursery rhymes, indoor/outdoor play)

  • help arrange play dates (with other nannies and nearby families) and take to/from park, activities and classes

  • children's laundry

  • light housekeeping when not caregiving

‌REQUIREMENTS

  • proven experience caring for toddlers and older kids (experience in homes with multiple kids of different ages)

  • comfortable working alongside mom and grandma occasionally in home (nanny must be flexible to change duties depending on which adults are in the home)

  • good English speaker

  • willing and able to work "on the books"

  • willing to get screenings/immunizations as directed

  • CPR-trained or willing to receive training

  • takes direction well & communicates openly with parents

  • seeking a long-term position with family 

REIMBURSEMENT

  • $30/hour net "take home" pay

  • 10 paid vacation/personal days (half selected by employer, half by employee)

  • 5 paid sick days and major public holidays paid days off

  • public transportation to/from work paid by family

  • paid 52-weeks/year (i.e. paid when not needed such as during family vacation)
