SALARY: $30/hour
CHILDREN: 3-month-old baby and 2.5 year-old girl (nanny cares for both kids at same time about 2 hours each day)
START DATE: April 2026
SCHEDULE
Monday: 8am - 6pm
Tuesday: 8am - 6pm
Wednesday: 8am - 6pm
Thursday: 8am - 6pm
Friday: 8am - 6pm
Saturday: OFF
Sunday: OFF
DRIVING REQUIRED: NO (driver license preferred)
TRAVEL REQUIRED: Hamptons & Upstate NY (mostly in summer)
PETS: NO
DUTIES
compassionate, responsible care for 3-month-old baby and 2.5 year-old girl (nanny cares for both kids at same time about 2 hours each day)
age-appropriate play & learning activities (including "tummy time" for baby, educational games, reading storybooks, singing & nursery rhymes, indoor/outdoor play)
help arrange playdates (with other nannies and nearby families) and take to/from park, activities and classes
children's laundry
help with family meal prep
light housekeeping when not caregiving (tidying up common areas after playtime, clean kitchen after meal prep for child, organize baby's drawers, closets & toy boxes)
REQUIREMENTS
proven experience caring for infants and toddlers (e.g. bathing, changing, bottle prep & feeding, potty training when needed, teach grooming & hygiene, maintaining sleep/nap schedule)
experience caring for multiple chidlren in home
punctual (arrive/leave on time)
able to travel with family (mostly the Hamptons & Upstate NY in the summer)
** must be able to swim **
competent English speaker
willing to get screenings/immunizations as directed
CPR-trained or willing to receive training
takes direction well & communicates openly
seeking a long-term position with family
REIMBURSEMENT
$30/hour
10 paid vacation/personal days (half selected by employer, half by employee)
5 paid sick days and major public holidays paid days off
public transportation to/from work paid by family
paid 52-weeks/year (i.e. paid when not needed such as during family vacation)
