DUTIES

adult supervision for two school-age boys, 9 & 12 years old
meal preparation and cooking for family
light housekeeping and help organizing home (drawers, closets, cupboards, etc.)
school pick-up and take kids to activities as needed
family laundry
shopping & errands as needed

‌REQUIREMENTS

experience working in homes with school-age kids (experience caring for school-age boys a plus)
experience in busy New York City homes a big plus
gentle but firm work-style (helps with gentle discipline with kids, making sure house rules are followed)
enjoys daily housekeeping, meal prep and organizing
good English speaker
willing to get screenings/immunizations as directed ‌

REIMBURSEMENT

$35/hour (final offer varies with skill and experience)
10 paid vacation/personal days (half selected by employer, half by employee)
5 paid sick days and major public holidays paid days off
public transportation to/from work paid by family
paid 52-weeks/year (i.e. paid when not needed such as during family vacation)
