SALARY: $27/hour net “take home” pay

Monday: 10am - 6pm
Tuesday: 10am - 6pm
Wednesday: 10am - 6pm
Thursday: 10am - 6pm
Friday: 10am - 6pm
Saturday: OFF

DUTIES
compassionate, responsible care for 3.5 year old child (e.g. help with bathing and dressing,teach grooming & hygiene, maintain sleep/nap schedule)
family cooking while child in school (healthy vegetarian Indian dishes)
age-appropriate play & learning activities (including educational games, reading storybooks, singing & nursery rhymes, indoor/outdoor play)
help arrange play dates with other nannies and nearby families; take child to/from park, activities and classes as needed
light housekeeping & famiy laundry when not caregiving
REQUIREMENTS
proven experience caring for pre-school age child
comfortable using NYC subway and bus system!
skilled cooking vegetarian Indian dishes (enjoys spending time in kitchen)
punctual (arrive/leave on time)
competent English speaker
willing and able to work "on the books"
willing to get screenings/immunizations as directed
CPR-trained or willing to receive training
takes direction well & communicates openly with parents
seeking a long-term position with family
REIMBURSEMENT
$27/hour net "take home" pay
10 paid vacation/personal days (half selected by employer, half by employee)
5 paid sick days and major public holidays paid days off
public transportation to/from work paid by family
paid 52-weeks/year (i.e. paid when not needed such as during family vacation)
