SALARY: $30/hour (final offer varies with skill & experience)

CHILDREN: 2-year-old + newborn (begin care for both kids in September)

START DATE: March 2026

SCHEDULE

  • Monday: 8am - 5pm

  • Tuesday: 8am - 5pm

  • Wednesday: 8am - 5pm

  • Thursday: 8am - 5pm

  • Friday: 8am - 5pm

  • Saturday: OFF

  • Sunday: OFF

DRIVING REQUIRED: NO

TRAVEL REQUIRED: NO

PETS: NO

DUTIES

  • compassionate, responsible care for 2 year-old plus help with newborn expected spring 2026 (e.g. bathing, changing clothes/diapers, bottle preparation, bottle cleaning, coordinate with mother for breastfeeding, potty training, maintaining sleep/nap schedule)

  • children's laundry

  • meal/snack preparation for kids (help baby transition to solids when ready)

  • age-appropriate play & learning activities (including "tummy time" for baby, reading storybooks, singing & nursery rhymes, indoor/outdoor play and educational games)

  • take toddler on walks & outings when weather permits (help arrange playdates with other nannies and nearby families and take child to/from park, library, activities and classes)

  • light housekeeping when not caregiving (load dishwasher, keep common areas and baby's room tidy, sanitize baby bottles, clean kitchen/dishes after meal prep for child, dry/wipe baby’s bath area, sanitize baby’s toys, organize baby's drawers, closet & toys) ​

REQUIREMENTS

  • experience caring for newborn infants & toddlers

  • high-energy, happy caregiver

  • willing to get immunizations as directed (TDaP, MMR, Covid, Flu) 

  • flexible personality and work style (enjoys working alongside parents and grandparents)

  • good cooking skills for kids (experience helping baby transition to solids)

  • punctual (arrive/leave on time))

  • competent English speaker

  • CPR-trained or willing to receive training

  • takes direction well & communicates openly

  • seeking a long-term position with family

‌REIMBURSEMENT

  • $30/hour (final offer varies with skill & experience)

  • 10 paid vacation/personal days (half selected by employer, half by employee)

  • 5 paid sick days and major public holidays paid days off​

  • paid 52-weeks/year (i.e. paid when not needed such as during family vacation)
