DUTIES

compassionate, responsible care for 3-year-old boy (e.g. help with bathing and dressing, feeding, teaching hygiene and grooming, maintaining nap schedule)

age-appropriate play & learning activities (including educational games, reading storybooks, indoor/outdoor play)
take child to/from park, activities and classes as needed
child's laundry
meal/snack preparation for child
light housekeeping when not caregiving (tidy up common areas after playtime, clean kitchen after meal prep organize child's drawers, closets & toy boxes as time permits)

REQUIREMENTS

professional experience caring for pre-school age kids (must have experience with high-energy toddlers and pre-schooler boys)
able to travel with family some summer weekends a plus
good English speaker
willing to get screenings/immunizations as directed
CPR-trained or willing to receive training
takes direction well & communicates openly
seeking a long-term position with family

REIMBURSEMENT

$25-$27/hour (final offer varies with skill and experience)
family will discuss public transportation costs to/from work with candidate
nanny paid minimum 48 weeks/year (nanny will not work approximately 4 weeks/year)
