DUTIES

compassionate, responsible care for 2.5 year-old toddler (e.g. help with bathing, changing, meal prep & feeding, potty training, maintaining sleep/nap schedule)
age-appropriate play & learning activities (including educational games, reading storybooks, singing & nursery rhymes, indoor/outdoor play)
take child to/from park, play dates activities and classes as needed
child's laundry as needed
meal/snack preparation for child
light housekeeping when not caregiving (tidy up common areas after playtime, clean kitchen after meal prep for child, organize child's drawers, closets & toy boxes)

‌REQUIREMENTS

experience caring for infants/toddlers
team player, and able to work seamlessly with weekday nanny
good cooking skills for kids
punctual (arrive/leave on time)
able to stay with family in the Hamptons during summer weekends plus some weekends in the fall)
comfortable with cats in the home (no allergies)
able to swim a plus but not required
competent English speaker
willing to get screenings/immunizations as directed
CPR-trained (with certificate)
willing to do background check
takes direction well & communicates openly with parents
seeking a long-term position with family
