DUTIES

compassionate, responsible care for two boys age 4 & 9 years-old (most care for younger child)
age-appropriate play & learning activities (educational games, storybooks with pre-school child) (limit kids' screen-ime)
help arrange playdates (with other nannies and nearby families); schol pick-up and and take kids to/from park, activities and classes
family laundry
meal/snack preparation for kids (cook larger portions for parents)
light housekeeping when not caregiving (tidying up common areas after playtime, clean kitchen after meal prep for child, organize baby's drawers, closets & toy boxes)

REQUIREMENTS

professional experience caring for pre-school and school-age kids (most care is for 4.5 year-old child)
punctual (arrive/leave on time)
enjoys cooking healthy meals for kids (trying new recipes for picky eaters)
competent English speaker
willing to get screenings/immunizations as directed
CPR-trained or willing to receive training
takes direction well & communicates openly
seeking a long-term position with family

REIMBURSEMENT

$25/hour (final offer varies with skill and experience)
10 paid vacation/personal days (half selected by employer, half by employee)
5 paid sick days and major public holidays paid days off
public transportation to/from work paid by family
paid 52-weeks/year (i.e. paid when not needed such as during family vacation)
