Monday: 9am - 5pm (start & stop time may be adjusted for the right candidate)
Tuesday: OFF
Wednesday: 9am - 5pm (start & stop time may be adjusted for the right candidate)
Thursday: 9am - 5pm (start & stop time may be adjusted for the right candidate)
Friday: OFF
Saturday: OFF
Sunday: OFF
DRIVING REQUIRED: NO
TRAVEL REQUIRED: NO (occasional house sitting in Brooklyn needed)
PETS: friendly dog (will help care for dog sometimes when family is traveling)
DUTIES
cook healthy North Indian food for family members (prefer nutritional, low-oil approach)
housekeeping (e.g. kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms, floors, dusting, closet & cupboard organization, empty trash)
laundry
pet care (friendly dog)
occasional overnight house sitting & dog sitting when family is traveling (may be weekday or weekend)
REQUIREMENTS
experience cooking North Indian food
experienced housekeeper
reliable (arrives & leaves on time)
enjoys pets, comfortable with family dog in home (friendly, medium-sized)
competent English speaker (Hindi speaking a plus!)
takes direction well & communicates openly
seeking a long-term position
REIMBURSEMENT
$35/hour
public transportation to/from work paid by family
paid 52-weeks/year (i.e. paid when not needed such as during family vacation)
