SALARY: $30/hour ($800/weekend when live-in)

CHILDREN: 9 months, 2.5 and 5 years-old

SCHEDULE

NOTE: approximately half of the weekends are live-in and half of the weekends are live-out.

DRIVING REQUIRED: NO

TRAVEL REQUIRED: local travel (upstate NY)

DUTIES

Mother’s Helper —- help care for three kids ages 9 months, 2.5 and 5 years-old (e.g. help mom with bathing, changing, bottle prep & feeding, potty training, teach grooming & hygiene, maintaining sleep/nap schedule)

age-appropriate play & learning activities (educational games, reading storybooks, singing & nursery rhymes, indoor/outdoor play)
take kids to/from park, activities and classes
children's laundry as needed
meal/snack preparation for kids
light housekeeping when not caregiving (tidying up common areas after playtime, clean kitchen after meal prep for child, organize baby's drawers, closets & toy boxes)

REQUIREMENTS

proven experience caring for infants, toddlers and school-age children (experience with multiple children at home)
flexible to change duties as needed (help mom with different tasks)
able to travel with family (approximately half of the weekends will be live-in, traveling to upstate New York)
able to swim
competent English speaker
willing to get screenings/immunizations as directed
CPR-trained or willing to receive training
takes direction well & communicates openly
seeking a long-term position with family

REIMBURSEMENT

$30/hour ($800/weekend when live-in)
public transportation to/from work paid by family
paid 52-weeks/year (i.e. paid when not needed such as during family vacation)
