SALARY: $28/hour

SCHEDULE
Monday: 12pm - 7pm (1pm - 8pm also ok)
Tuesday: 12pm - 7pm (1pm - 8pm also ok)
Wednesday: 12pm - 7pm (1pm - 8pm also ok)
Thursday: 12pm - 7pm (1pm - 8pm also ok)
Friday: 12pm - 7pm (1pm - 8pm also ok)
Saturday: OFF
Sunday: OFF
DRIVING REQUIRED: NO
TRAVEL REQUIRED: summer Hamptons (1-2 weeks each summer)
PETS: NO
DUTIES
compassionate, responsible care for baby (e.g. bathing, changing, bottle prep & feeding, potty training, teach grooming & hygiene, maintaining sleep/nap schedule)
NOTE: family has second nanny, so very little care needed for two older children ages 3 & 5.age-appropriate play & learning activities ( "tummy time", educational games, reading storybooks, singing & nursery rhymes, indoor/outdoor play)
help arrange playdates with other nannies and nearby families; take kids to/from park, activities and classes
children's laundry
meal/snack preparation (help baby transition to solid foods) (help with family cookking when time permits)
light housekeeping when not caregiving (tidying up common areas after playtime, clean kitchen after meal prep for child, organize baby's drawers, closets & toy boxes)
REQUIREMENTS
proven experience caring for young infants, toddlers and school-age kids (most care is for baby only)
good English speaker
collaborate with parents and other full-time nanny in home (second nanny cares mainly for 2 older kids)
experience with multiple children of varying ages (most care is for baby only)
travel with family to the Hamptons (typically 1 week each year in summer)
willing to get screenings/immunizations as directed
CPR-trained or willing to receive training
takes direction well & communicates openly
seeking a long-term position with family
REIMBURSEMENT
$28/hour
10 paid vacation/personal days (half selected by employer, half by employee)
5 paid sick days and major public holidays paid days off
public transportation to/from work paid by family
paid 52-weeks/year (i.e. paid when not needed such as during family vacation)
