LIVE-OUT NANNY/HOUSEKEEPER

SALARY: $30/hour

CHILDREN: infant (personal or work experience both ok, mom cares for baby)

START DATE: July 2026 (start-date flexible)

SCHEDULE

  • Mon-Fri (weekdays)

  • 8-hour shift (start & stop times are flexible)

DRIVING REQUIRED: YES

TRAVEL REQUIRED: NO

PETS: CATS

DUTIES

  • daily housekeeping and organizing (includes helping family communicate with landscapers and others who may be working in the home)

  • help with receiving groceries and home inventory

  • help mom care for young baby (e.g. bathing, changing, bottle prep & feeding, potty training, teach grooming & hygiene, maintaining sleep/nap schedule)

  • age-appropriate play & learning activities (including "tummy time", educational games, reading storybooks, singing & nursery rhymes, indoor/outdoor play)

  • family laundry

  • help care for family pets (cats and small dog)

  • meal/snack preparation (child and family)

‌REQUIREMENTS

  • physically fit and high-energy to help manage busy home and help care for young chld

  • enjoys daily housekeeping and organizing (e.g. laundry, bathroom, kitchen, floors, dusting, bedrooms, closet organization, empty trash)

  • personal or experience caring for infants and toddlers

  • competent English speaker

  • comfortable in homes with cats and small dog

  • willing to get screenings/immunizations as directed

  • CPR-trained or willing to receive training

  • takes direction well & communicates openly

  • seeking a long-term position with family 

‌REIMBURSEMENT

  • $30/hour (final offer varies with skill and experience)

  • 10 paid vacation/personal days (half selected by employer, half by employee)

  • 5 paid sick days and major public holidays paid days off

  • public transportation to/from work paid by family

  • paid 52-weeks/year (i.e. paid when not needed such as during family vacation)
