LOCATION: New York, NY (Upper East Side, near Q/6 trains)

SALARY: $40/hour

CHILDREN: 6-year-old twins & 11 years old

START DATE: September 2026

SCHEDULE

NOTE: Nanny will occasionally work until 8pm or 9pm. Family will provide as much advance notice as possible.

DRIVING REQUIRED:

TRAVEL REQUIRED: 2 weeks/year (usually summer, not far away)

PETS: 1 dog (some pet care needed)

DUTIES

daily housekeeping (mostly light housekeeping)
home organization (drawers, closets, cupboards, toy boxes, etc.)
care for 6 year-old twins and 11-year-old (age-appropriate play & learning activities; help with school pick-up, take kids to/from park, activities and classes)
family laundry
meal/snack preparation
shopping and errands as needed

‌REQUIREMENTS

highly organized and enjoys light daily housekeeping
punctual & able to stay late occasionally as needed (1-2 hours)
able to travel with family (Cape Cod) approximately 2 weeks/year in summer
good English communication (able to speak with workers who may come to the home)
comfortable with friendly family dog in home (dog walking & feeding a plus!0
takes direction well & communicates openly with parents
seeking a long-term position with family

REIMBURSEMENT

$40/hour (final offer varies with skill & experience)
10 paid vacation/personal days (half selected by employer, half by employee)
5 paid sick days and major public holidays paid days off
public transportation to/from work paid by family
paid 52-weeks/year (i.e. paid when not needed such as during family vacation)
