LIVE-OUT NANNY/HOUSEKEEPER

SALARY: $25/hour

SCHEDULE
Monday: 8am - 6pm (shift may start later or end later)
Tuesday: 8am - 6pm (shift may start later or end later)
Wednesday: 8am - 6pm (shift may start later or end later)
Thursday: 8am - 6pm (shift may start later or end later)
Friday: 8am - 6pm (shift may start later or end later)
Saturday: OFF
Sunday: OFF
NOTE: Nanny will have a minimum 50-hour work week.
NOTE: Nanny will frequently be asked to stay later and occasionally stay overnight; family will provide as much advance notice as possible.
DRIVING REQUIRED: NO

DUTIES
compassionate, responsible care for 2.5 year-old girl (e.g. help with bathing & dressing, feeding, potty training, maintaining sleep/nap schedule)
age-appropriate play & learning activities (educational games, reading storybooks, singing & nursery rhymes, indoor/outdoor play)
help arrange playdates (with other nannies and nearby families) and take to/from park, activities and classes
meal/snack preparation for child
light housekeeping when not caregiving (tidying up common areas after playtime, clean kitchen after meal prep for child, organize baby's drawers, closets & toy boxes, laundry)
shopping & errands as needed
REQUIREMENTS
must be flexible to stay late as needed (with pay) and occasionally stay overnight
experience caring for toddlers & pre-school kids (experience with infants a big plus but not required now)
enjoys light daily housekeeping (e.g. kitchen, vacuum & swiffer floors, empty trash, closet organization, wash sheets weekly)
punctual (arrive/leave on time)
competent English speaker
comfortable with dog in home
willing to get screenings/immunizations as directed
CPR-trained or willing to receive training
takes direction well & communicates openly
seeking a long-term position
REIMBURSEMENT
$25/hour
10 paid vacation/personal days (half selected by employer, half by employee)
3 paid sick days and the following public holidays paid days off (New Year, Martin Luther King Day, President's Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Day)
public transportation to/from work reimbursed by family ($6/day)
paid 52-weeks/year (i.e. paid when not needed such as during family vacation)
