SALARY: $25/hour

DRIVING REQUIRED: NO

TRAVEL REQUIRED: NO (preferred once a month to Boston)

PETS:

DUTIES

compassionate, responsible care for 6-month baby girl (e.g. bathing, changing, bottle preparation & feeding, potty training, maintaining sleep/nap schedule)

age-appropriate play & learning activities (including educational games, reading storybooks, singing & nursery rhymes, indoor/outdoor play)
help arrange playdates (with other nannies and nearby families) and take to/from park, activities and classes as child grows
child's laundry
meal/snack preparation for child (help transition to solids)
light housekeeping when not caregiving (tidying up common areas after playtime, clean kitchen after meal prep for child, organize baby's drawers, closets & toy boxes)

‌REQUIREMENTS

experience caring for infants and toddlers
punctual (arrive/leave on time)
able to travel with family a big plus (typically once a month to Boston area)
good English speaker
willing to get screenings/immunizations as directed
CPR-trained or willing to receive training
takes direction well & communicates openly
seeking a long-term position with family

‌REIMBURSEMENT

$25/hour (final offer varies with skill and experience)
10 paid vacation/personal days (half selected by employer, half by employee)
5 paid sick days and major public holidays paid days off
monthly MetroCard reimbursed
paid 52-weeks/year (i.e. paid when not needed such as during family vacation)
