DUTIES

daily housekeeping while kids in school (e.g. bathroom, kitchen, floors, dusting, bedrooms & common areas, empty trash)
family cooking
family laundry
compassionate, responsible care for 5 & 7 year-old kids
age-appropriate play & learning activities (mostly with younger child); school pick-up as needed, take kids to/from park, activities and classes
help organize home (organize closets, cupboards, drawers, toy boxes, etc.)
errands and shopping as needed

REQUIREMENTS

experience caring for school-age children (infant care experience also a plus in case family expands later)
enjoys daily housekeeping and cooking
punctual (arrive/leave on time)
good English speaker
willing to get screenings/immunizations as directed b
takes direction well & communicates openly
seeking a long-term position with family

‌REIMBURSEMENT

$27/hour (final offer varies with skill and experience)
minimum 10 paid vacation/personal days
5 paid sick days and major public holidays paid days off
monthly MetroCard reimbursed
paid 52-weeks/year (i.e. paid when not needed such as during family vacation)
