WEEKEND LIVE-IN NANNY

LOCATION: Westchester, NY (MetroNorth Railroad) (occasional weekends in Long Island/LIRR)
SALARY: $800/weekend
CHILDREN: 1.5 year-old toddler & 8-year-old girl
START DATE: November 2026
SCHEDULE
Friday: arrive 6pm (live-in)
Saturday: live-in
Sunday: end shift 6pm
DRIVING REQUIRED: NO (driver license preferred!)
TRAVEL REQUIRED: occasional weekend in Long Island home instead of Westchester
PETS: small, friendly dogs
DUTIES
compassionate, responsible care for 1.5 & 9-year-old kids (e.g. help with bathing and dressing toddler, support potty training when needed, teach grooming & hygiene, maintaining sleep/nap schedule)
age-appropriate play & learning activities (educational games, reading storybooks, singing & nursery rhymes, indoor/outdoor play)
take kids to to/from park, activities and classes as needed
help care for friendly family dogs
family laundry, light housekeeping, help with meal prep, organizing and chores/errands when not caring for kids
REQUIREMENTS
proven experience caring for toddlers & school-age kids
capable of caring for two kids at same time when needed
flexible to do light housekeeping, organizing and meal prep while parents spending time with kids
good English speaker
enjoys helping to care for small, friendly dogs in home
willing to get screenings/immunizations as directed
CPR-trained or willing to receive training
REIMBURSEMENT
$800/weekend (final offer varies with skill and experience)
public transportation to/from work paid by family
paid 52-weeks/year (two weekends paid vacation)
