SALARY: $28/hour

START DATE: November 2026 (newborn baby due in December)
SCHEDULE
Monday: 8am - 6pm
Tuesday: 8am - 6pm
Wednesday: 8am - 6pm
Thursday: 8am - 6pm
Friday: 8am - 6pm
Saturday: OFF
Sunday: OFF
DRIVING REQUIRED: NO
TRAVEL REQUIRED: Summer in the Hamptons
PETS: dog (some pet care)
DUTIES
compassionate, responsible care for young baby
age-appropriate play & learning activities ("tummy time", storybooks, educational games, etc.)
help arrange play dates, take to/from park & activities, etc.
child's laundry
meal/snack preparation for child (help transition to solids when ready)
light housekeeping when not caregiving (tidying up common areas after playtime, clean kitchen after meal prep for child, organize baby's drawers, closets & toy boxes)
REQUIREMENTS
proven experience caring for young infants
punctual (arrive/leave on time)
** able to travel with family in summer to the Hamptons **
comfortable with friendly family dog (some pet care needed )
good English speaker (Bengali speaking a plus!)
willing to get screenings/immunizations as directed
CPR-trained or willing to receive training
takes direction well & communicates openly with parents
seeking a long-term position with family
REIMBURSEMENT
$28/hour
10 paid vacation/personal days (half selected by employer, half by employee)
5 paid sick days and major public holidays paid days off
public transportation to/from work paid by family
paid 52-weeks/year (i.e. paid when not needed such as during family vacation)
