CHILDREN: two school-age kids (nanny care begins after school)

DUTIES

adult supervision for two kids ages 5 & 8 (help with school pick-up, take to activities, classes & playdates; oversee kids while they do homework)
family cooking (while kids in school)
grocery shopping and errands
family laundry
light daily housekeeping plus typically one deep-cleaning project each day while kids in school)

‌REQUIREMENTS

experience caring for school-age kids
enjoys light daily housekeeping (main focus is on cooking for kids and helping kids after school (e.g. laundry, bathroom, kitchen, floors, dusting, bedrooms, closet organization, empty trash)
enjoys cooking
punctual (arrive/leave on time)
able to travel with family (typically August in the Hamptons)
able to stay late a few days each month
competent English speaker
seeking a long-term position (this job will last 4 or more years!)

REIMBURSEMENT

$28/hour
10 paid vacation/personal days (half selected by employer, half by employee)
5 paid sick days and major public holidays paid days off
monthly MetroCard reimbursed or paid by employer
paid 52-weeks/year (i.e. paid when not needed such as during family vacation)
