SALARY: $35/hour (nanny pays her own taxes)

DUTIES

compassionate, responsible care for 2.5 year-old girl (e.g. help with bathing, hygiene, grooming and dressing; potty training when needed, maintaining sleep/nap schedule & bedtime prep)
age-appropriate play & learning activities (including educational games, reading storybooks, singing & nursery rhymes, indoor/outdoor play)
school pick-up and take to/from playdates, park, activities and classes (if caring for older child)
children's laundry
meal/snack preparation for children
light housekeeping when not caregiving (fold laundry, load dishwasher, help maintain tidy home)

‌REQUIREMENTS

mature, responsible caregiver with experience with toddlers (NOTE: family will have newborn in home but nanny is only responsible for toddler)
willing and able to work ON THE BOOKS.
punctual (arrive/leave on time)
competent English speaker
willing to get screenings/immunizations as directed by family
CPR-trained or willing to receive training
takes direction well & communicates openly
seeking a long-term position with family

‌REIMBURSEMENT

$35/hour (nanny pays her own taxes)
10 paid vacation/personal days (half selected by employer, half by employee)
5 paid sick days and major public holidays paid days off
monthly MetroCard reimbursed
paid 52-weeks/year (i.e. paid when not needed such as during family vacation)
