LOCATION: New York, NY (Upper East Side, near Q/4/5/6 trains)

SALARY: $30hour

CHILDREN: two full-time nannies for three kids ages 3 months, 1.5 years & 3.5 years old

START DATE: December 2025 / January 2026 (start-date flexible)

SCHEDULE

NOTE: 55-hour work week

NOTE: hours may shift slightly; family will give as much advance notice as possible

DRIVING REQUIRED: NO

TRAVEL REQUIRED: YES (mostly Hamptons, some foreign travel a plus)

DUTIES

work alongside second nanny in home to care for three kids: 3 months, 1.5 years & 3.5 years old (e.g. bathing, changing, bottle preparation & feeding, teaching hygiene and grooming, potty training, cutting fingernails, maintaining sleep/nap schedule)

age-appropriate play & learning activities (including "tummy time" for infant, reading storybooks, singing & nursery rhymes, indoor/outdoor play and educational games)
help arrange play dates (with other nannies and nearby families) and take to/from park, activities and classes
children's laundry and occasional family laundry
family cooking
travel with the family to the Hamptons in summer (live-in while in Hamptons)
shopping and errands as needed
light housekeeping when not caregiving (tidying up common areas after playtime, clean kitchen after meal prep, organize children's drawers, closets & toys; make beds for kids and parents)

‌REQUIREMENTS

high-energy nanny with experience caring for infants/toddlers and pre-school age kids; must have experience with multiple kids in home; (because there are two nannies, you will generally care for only one or two kids at the same time)
punctual (arrive/leave on time)
flexible work-style and collaborative (work well with other nanny in the home, switch duties when needed)
able to travel with family weekdays and/or weekends) (most travel is to the Hamptons)(foreign travel a plus!)
able to stay late or arrive early occasionally as needed; able to stay overnight some weekday and weekends with additional pay
competent English speaker
willing to get screenings/immunizations as directed
CPR-trained or willing to receive training
takes direction well & communicates openly
seeking a long-term position with family ‌

REIMBURSEMENT

$30/hour
10 paid vacation/personal days (half selected by employer, half by employee)
5 paid sick days and major public holidays paid days off (New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Day, Presidents’ Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas)
public transportation to/from work paid by the family
paid 52-weeks/year (i.e. paid when not needed such as during family vacation)
