DUTIES
compassionate, responsible care for 9 year-old girl (occasional care only for 7-year-old boy also in home)
games and activities with child (take occasional day trips together to park, museums, stores, etc.)
escort to activities, classes and playdates
meal/snack preparation for child
light housekeeping when not caregiving (tidying up common areas after playtime, clean kitchen after meal prep for child, organize child’s drawers, closets & toy boxes)
REQUIREMENTS
enjoys caring for school-age kids (dependable nanny but also fun & energetic, loves talking with kids)
able to use smart phone (for identifying mass transit schedules, maps to new locations, etc.)
good English speaker (Hindi speaking a plus for curious child who enjoys learning new languages)
willing to get screenings/immunizations as directed
CPR-trained or willing to receive training
takes direction well & communicates openly
seeking a long-term position with family
REIMBURSEMENT
$30/hour
public transportation to/from work paid by family
