LOCATION: New York, NY (plus travel to Massachusetts and other locations)

SALARY: $1,800/week

DUTIES

compassionate, responsible care for young baby plus some help as needed with 7-year-old
age-appropriate play & learning activities (including "tummy time", reading storybooks, singing & nursery rhymes, indoor/outdoor play and educational games)
help arrange playdates (with other nannies and nearby families) and take to/from park, activities and classes as child grows
cooking for kids and dad (light, simple healthy cooking!)
child's laundry
meal/snack preparation & cooking for kids & dad
light housekeeping when not caregiving (tidying up common areas after playtime, clean kitchen after meal prep for child, organize baby's drawers, closets & toy boxes)

‌REQUIREMENTS

experience caring for infants & toddlers (e.g. bathing, changing, bottle preparation & feeding, potty training, maintaining sleep/nap schedule)
able to travel with family domestically & internationally about three months a year (nanny will travel with family to Nantucket and other locations throughout the year)
competent English speaker
willing and able to be paid “on-the-books”
enjoys simple, healthy cooking (for kids and for dad)
able to swim a plus (not required)
willing to get screenings/immunizations as directed
CPR-trained or willing to receive training
takes direction well & communicates openly
seeking a long-term position with family

‌REIMBURSEMENT

$1,800/week
10 paid vacation/personal days (half selected by employer, half by employee)
5 paid sick days and major public holidays paid days off
monthly MetroCard reimbursed
paid 52-weeks/year (i.e. paid when not needed such as during family vacation)
