FULL-TIME NANNY (live-out)

LOCATION: New York, NY (Upper East Side, near 6 train)


TYPE OF CARE: full-time live-out nanny for 1 & 4 year-old girls


  • MONDAY: 7:30am - 5:30pm (see note below)

  • TUESDAY: 7:30am - 5:30pm

  • WEDNESDAY: 7:30am - 5:30pm

  • THURSDAY: 7:30am - 5:30pm

  • FRIDAY: 7:30am - 5:30pm



NOTE: Nanny may be asked to start occasionally at 7am or stay until 6pm. Family will provide as much advance notice as possible.

START DATE: October 2019



  • compassionate, responsible care for 1 and 4 year-old girls (e.g. bathing, changing, bottle preparation & feeding, potty training, managing sleep/nap schedule)

  • age-appropriate play & learning activities (including singing & nursery rhymes, indoor/outdoor play and reading storybooks)

  • help arrange play dates and activities (with other nannies and nearby families)

  • take to/from park, activities and classes

  • meal/snack preparation for kids (Indian cooking)

  • light housekeeping when not caregiving


  • experienced in infant/toddler care

  • comfortable cooking Indian dishes for kids

  • competent English & Hindi speaker (will speak Hindi with child)

  • punctual (arrive/leave on time)

  • able to travel with family preferred (approximately 1-2 weeks/year in U.S. only)

  • able to sleep over approximately 3-5 nights per year (with additional pay)

  • able to stay late and/or work early occasionally as needed

  • experience with multiple children of varying ages


  • takes direction well & communicates openly with parents

  • willing to get screenings/immunizations as directed by family

  • CPR-trained (or willing to receive training immediately)

  • seeking a long-term position with family


  • $20/hour (may vary with candidate's skill & experience)

  • 10 paid vacation/personal days (half selected by employer, half by employee) and major public holidays

  • monthly MetroCard reimbursed

  • paid 52-weeks/year (i.e. nanny paid when not needed such as during family vacation)
